Afternoon Program
From 12.10 - 3 p.m.

This Afternoon Program focuses on 3 workshops: art, theater and creative gaming.  Final projects include a  performance for the parents, art show and game demonstration.

 

Students must attend the morning session to be eligible for the Afternoon Program.

Between 12.10-3 p.m. each student will participate in the following workshop activities.

 

Lunch – Please send a lunch and a second snack in an insulated container.

Literary Artworks - Using children’s literature and a variety of art media such as clay, paint, glue, glitter, paper, dough etc., create your own artistic works and crafts.

Flights of Fancy - Use the outdoors as your laboratory to discover aerodynamics through balsa planes, paper airplanes, parachutes, gliders, kites, insects and more.

Game Galore -  Learn how game components such as spinners, coins, cards, dice, statistics and random occurrences effect probability as you design your own board game.

Students must participate in the morning session to be eligible for the Afternoon Program.
